Celia Tomlinson

Celia grew up in Golden Bay before completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Otago University in 2007. Since then she has worked in hospitals and private practice in Invercargill, Adelaide and now has moved back home to Nelson. During her time working as a physiotherapist she developed a passion for continence and pelvic health physiotherapy, which involves treatment of problems specific to women through their lives including pregnancy, post-natal recovery, bladder and bowel issues, prolapse and pelvic pain.

Celia completed her Post-Graduate Certificate in Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapy in 2015 and is also qualified pilates instructor, experienced in teaching pilates for health during pregnancy and post-natal recovery. She loves teaching pilates and working with women at any stage of their life to assist them in optimising their health whether it be to improve bladder and bowel problems, stay active during pregnancy or return to activity and sport   post-natally.

Outside of physiotherapy Celia loves to ride and compete in equestrian events, run around the beautiful trails here, cook and read a good book.
